Franco Cavaleri BSc. - 2003
 Franco Cavaleri is a graduate of UBC, majored in Nutritional Science and Biochemistry. His postgraduate research efforts continue today on the latest gene-related nutraceutical science that supports activity of the inherent health maintenance systems programmed within us all. This cutting-edge research has proven to be powerfully effective in the correction of many of our common health epidemics including diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, obesity, chronic inflammation such as arthritis and IBD's such as colitis and Crohn's as well as other age related degeneration.

His efforts in scientific research and development have led to the accumulation of several awards in the Canadian Health Industry where stringent government regulation is a globally recognized standard. In 1992, Franco founded and in 1997 sold his own successful sports and therapeutic nutrition company, Champion's Choice Advanced Nutrition Inc. In 1996, Franco was awarded the Bronze Alive Award for the powerful natural anti-inflammatory formulation, Androsone. In 1997, the Alive Awards awarded Gold and Silver for Ultra Creatine Citrate and Ultra Creatine Monohydrate respectively. Both were formulated by Franco. In 1998 the Alive Awards again awarded Silver and Gold in the sports nutrition category for Franco's formulations, Whey More Protein and Creabolic Stack. At the 1999 Alive Awards, Franco’s formulations were again recognized with Gold for Ultra Whey More Protein and subsequently in 2001 for NHF's Whey Delicious formulation.

Franco has experienced the natural health industry from various perspectives: as an industry and health and fitness researcher; athletic performance and health therapy consultant; brand manufacturer and supplier of retail therapeutic, preventive and sports nutrition products; industry marketing and product research and development consultant; Canadian Health Food Association SNAC council/adviser and as an avid end user of these products for performance-enhancement, disease therapy and today, anti-aging. As a result, Franco understands various dimensions and mind-sets in the industry.

Franco has personally applied his work to win numerous bodybuilding events during his competitive years, culminating with first place at the 1992 IFBB North American Bodybuilding Championship in LA California. His motive to research therapy and prevention was inspired by the need to overcome personal life-threatening challenges encountered even before his prestigious bodybuilding win in LA – complete recovery to the dismay of medical professionals. His inspiring message and life-changing strategies to consumers and health care professionals have become his personal and professional purpose.

Franco is a frequent industry speaker at both consumer and trade events across Canada including the CHFA and CNHS health show circuits. Additionally, Franco's word is spread through magazine articles, books and a national newsletter. Franco’s most recent book titled “POTENTIAL WITHIN” is to be released in early 2003 and represents the next generation thinking toward performance-enhancement, anti-aging, diabetes, inflammation, insulin resistance and obesity.

Today Franco is the CEO, president, and research director of Biologic Nutritional Research Inc. and sits on the scientific advisory board of the publicly trading NuLife/NHF Vitamins and that of the Canadian Sports Nutrition Association, a division of the Canadian Health Food Association(CHFA). Franco is also a scientific adviser to animal feed and veterinary treatment companies and clinics.
