The Nutritional Reference Center is made up four data bases:
1) Pharmaceutical-Nutraceutical Contraindications 2) Pharmaceutical Drug-Induced Nutrient Depletions 3) Condition-Specific Nutraceutical Therapies 4) Biologic LIST Progam Professional health care providers, consumers and health care recipients can extract specific information from each database of interest. In the first category (database) the browser can enter key descriptive words in the search fields to collect safety information on pharmaceutical drugs and nutrient-based supplementation or therapies. The information available on these databases presents drug-nutrient interactions. In the second and third databases a pop-up menu provides for category selections and the information available details drug-induced nutrient depletions. With this research-documented data both the health care giver and the recipient can better understand and apply the complementary value of nutrient-based and pharmaceutical applications making up for drug-induced nutrient depletion while avoiding potentially harmful pharmaceutical-nutraceutical combinations. The third database, Condition-Specific Nutraceutical Therapies is derived, in part, from the research-referenced literary content of the book, Potential Within. The book presents more detail, a larger variety of therapies and more scientific detail and referencing. These natural therapeutic and preventive remedies are less invasive alternatives for common diseases. The last category of the Nutritional Reference Center is the Biologic LIST Program - a policing or 'watchdog' program which involves randomly testing nutritional products from the retail store shelves to make sure they meet label claim. This LIST of products represents those which have passed the Biologic Nutritional Research Inc. Label Integrity Standards Test (LIST). If a product does not pass the independent assaying it remains off the LIST. The manufacturer of this failed product is contacted and provided with recommendations which the Biologic research team suggests will correct the missed label claim to instill utmost safety and efficaciousness. Products which pass will be tested sporadically to make sure they belong on the list.
